No Marriage Allowance reduction applied. Employment and business share one Personal Allowance. Business Income Tax is combined tax less employment-only tax.
A useful estimate, with clear boundaries.
For 2025/26 and 2026/27, this estimator uses England, Wales and Northern Ireland non-savings Income Tax bands: 20%, 40% and 45%, a £12,570 Personal Allowance (tapered above £100,000), and Class 4 NI of 6% between £12,570 and £50,270 profit, then 2%. It assumes you are liable for Class 4 and below State Pension age. Scottish tax is not supported.
Actual expenses are used; the £1,000 trading allowance is not applied as well. No loss-relief election, pension relief, Gift Aid, student loans, other income, Child Benefit charge, VAT calculation, CIS deductions, voluntary Class 2 NI or employment/self-employment NI interaction is modelled. PAYE inputs are not stored or linked to the iPhone app.
This is a planning tool, not tax advice or a return. HMRC balances can include earlier amounts, payments on account, interest and adjustments. Check your complete circumstances with HMRC or a qualified adviser.
